It's been a while
It's been a while. Time for an update. :)
Well today is my birthday. What a better day to update. I am seriously so thankful for my life. I have been blessed with a beautiful life. I have the most amazing family....our family keeps growing. ( I am going to be an Aunt before the month has eneded :) yippeee) I have wonderful kids....an amazing husband who is always there for us. It's the simple things in life that I love. I love birthdays - not for the gifts. Honestly, I don't want anything. (oookkk well maybe just an icecream cake) I have everything right here. I tried to tell Dan that last night - I hope he listens :) My birthday reminds me - I am here because of my parents (whom I love soooo incredibly much- we have gotten so close with all these years) and because of my grandparents (Grandparents who are so inspiring to me, my nana angel above who I know is always watching down on me). It's a tree of life and I am so lucky I was given the gift of life on this day18 28years ago. Wow 28!! eeekkk.
I remember being younger and just thinking I would never get older. Life used to go by soooooooooo slow....and here I am now....wishing it would slow. I need and want that time to savor life and now these beautiful days pass too quickly.
Lets see.....what else is new.
Matilda has 4 teeth now! She is pulling herself up every where. Pointing at things. She is such a joy. Dan and I are so blessed. (she is spending the day with Peka (MIL who is an amazing woman xoxo)
Logan is busy in school. He woke up this morning...he was a bit of a grump. after sitting on the couch a few min. I think he realized "oh ya its mom's birthday" he came over to me with the sweetest hug and smile with a happy birthday wish. He also then picked up his sisters toys from the floor and helped me organize the toys a bit. We had oatmeal together. It was the perfect birthday morning.
